xCO2 temporal variability above Brazilian agroecosystems: A remote sensing approach

چکیده
Agriculture and soil management practices are closely related to CO 2 emissions in crop fields. These directly interfere on the carbon dynamics between land atmosphere. In this study, we investigated temporal variability of column-averaged dry-air mole fraction atmospheric (xCO ), solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF), normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) areas with main agroecosystems southern-central Brazil as a way understand if how crops cycle agricultural could be associated NDVI, SIF xCO . The study was carried out corresponding three agroecosystems’: sugarcane (Pradópolis, State São Paulo, Brazil), cropland soybean-corn succession (Santo Antônio do Paraíso, Paraná, grassland (Águas Claras, Mato Grosso Sul, Brazil). Air temperature, precipitation, were retrieved from NASA-POWER, NASA-GIOVANNI, SATVeg-EMBRAPA, OCO-2, respectively, during two-year study. Trends removed SIF, time series applying regression method. A negative correlation found areas, but grasslands, no showed up. Higher values observed (2.24 W m?2 sr?1 ?m?1), lower above grains, which varied 396.8 404.2 ppm. Both followed more seasonal pattern annual crops, over pasture presented an unusual higher precipitation events. Our results indicate potential use help identifying sources sinks additional greenhouse gas areas. • Solar induced (SIF) is sensitive phenology drought. correlated negatively SIF. activities. have identify GHG sinks.

Multi-temporal remote sensing image classification - A multi-view approach
Multispectral remote sensing images have been widely used for automated land use and land cover classification tasks. Often thematic classification is done using single date image, however in many instances a single date image is not informative enough to distinguish between different land cover types. In this paper we show how one can use multiple images, collected at different times of year (...

Mismanagement of soil and water resources may not only contribute to an escalation of global poverty but also jeopardize ecosystem services, with significant costs to the environment. Although not concentrated within one geographic location (3,500 million hectares), an equivalent of approximately 24 % of the earth’s land surface is degraded land, and about 2 billion people (one third of the glo...

Accurate measurement and mapping of biomass is a critical component of carbon stock quantification, climate change impact assessment, suitability and location of bio-energy processing plants, assessing fuel for forest fires, and assessing merchandisable timber. While above-ground biomass includes both live and dead plant material, most of the recent research effort on biomass estimation has foc...

متن کاملMapping Spatial Variability of Soil Salinity Using Remote Sensing Data and Geostatistical Analysis: A Case of Shadegan, Khuzestan
Extended abstract 1- Introduction Soil salinity is one of the most important desertification parameters in many parts of the world. Thus, preparing soil salinity maps in macro scales is necessary. Water and soil salinity as one of the contributing parameters in desertification, cause soil and vegetation degradation. Soil salinization represents many negative effects on the earth systems such ...
